Privacy

Privacy, clearly stated.

This policy explains the information the Indigo Dental Group website may collect, why it may be used, and the choices available to you.

Effective date

September 2, 2026

We aim to collect only the information needed to respond to you, help coordinate care, operate the website, and meet applicable obligations.

1. Scope

This policy applies to information collected through this website and its contact or appointment features. It does not replace the dental practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes how protected health information is handled in connection with dental care.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you use the contact form, we may collect your first and last name, email address, optional phone number, and your choice about receiving informational text messages. If you contact us another way, we may collect the information you include in that communication.

Appointment information

When you use online scheduling, information entered through the Archy patient portal is provided to Archy and to the practice as needed to process your request. Archy’s own terms and privacy notice also apply to information submitted through its service.

Technical information

The website and its service providers may automatically receive limited technical information, such as browser type, device type, referring page, approximate location derived from an IP address, and pages visited. The exact data depends on the hosting, security, cookie, and analytics tools that are enabled.

3. How we use information

Information collected through the website may be used to:

  • respond to questions and requests;
  • help arrange, confirm, or change appointments;
  • provide requested informational communications;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website; and
  • meet legal, regulatory, or professional obligations.

4. Text messages

The contact form asks whether you agree to receive informational text messages regarding dental care and appointments. Text messages should be sent only when you select “Yes” and provide a mobile number. Selecting “No” should not prevent you from submitting the contact form.

You may ask the office to stop informational texts at any time. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

5. Cookies and analytics

The website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for site operation, security, preferences, scheduling, or measurement. Before this policy is published, the practice should identify each tool in use and determine whether a cookie notice or consent control is required.

6. Sharing information

Website information may be shared with vendors that help host, secure, maintain, measure, or provide forms and scheduling for the site. Those providers may process information on the practice’s behalf under their own terms or agreements.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request, protect rights or safety, or address suspected fraud or security concerns.

7. Retention and security

Website information should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here and to meet applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. The practice and its providers use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information handled, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Health information

Please do not use a general website contact form for urgent concerns or to send detailed or sensitive health information. Call the office for guidance. If you believe you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Notice of Privacy Practices This website policy is separate from the dental practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices. Contact the office if you would like a copy of that notice or have a question about the privacy of health information related to your care.

9. Your choices

You may contact the office to ask about website information associated with you or request a correction or deletion. Some information may need to be kept when required for legal, clinical, security, or recordkeeping purposes. You may also decline optional text communications and adjust cookie choices when a preference tool is available.

10. Third-party links and services

This website may link to services operated by other organizations, including an appointment scheduling provider. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and this policy does not control how those services process information.

11. Updates to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, vendors, or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of the page should be revised when material updates are published.
